WE ARE HERE!!!

After a looonnnngggg journey in the van, moon shuttle bus, plane and school bus, we are finally here! We arrived at Guatemala International Airport today, and we are all safe and sound! We picked up our luggage, met Pastor Julio at the airport, and boarded our bus to the mission compound, where we are staying. It is absolutely beautiful here, and we all feel like Kings and Queens becuase it is such an exquisite building, complete with courtyard, balcony, and beautiful gardens. Tonight we are resting, getting comfortable in our new environment, and eating dinner! As steve would say, "Tengo Hambre!" the food is great, and tomorrow we will be leaving early to minister at the school Pastor Julio founded. We love you all!

p.s. Alli asks if she can just stay here forever? no college mom?!

Some photos for your enjoyment!!!

You could say we were excited!!!

In case you did not know, we transported 12 violins for Pastor Julio to give to the kids in his school! We had a little bit of fun with them as well! (Korinne had the responsibility of caring for the 1/8th violin. "The Baby One"as she calls it!) <3

Tuesday Evening 10pm

Some friends and family joined in prayer with the team of 19 around 10pm Tuesday evening.
The focus was not on comfort, safety or the trip.
More on being a team in unity
- empty of self
-poured out as offering to God into the lives of everyone that is met on the journey
