We are all learning so much español!!! (well, maybe!) Today we had our first service for 7th-12th graders from 7:30 to 10 am at CEG (Colegio Escolar Getsemani), the school Pastor Julio founded. The worship team ministered in spanish and english with some musical help from some students of the school! Amanda, Julia and Alli all shared/testified (awesome girls!)! The "Soul Rock" drama was swell! Everyone played a part in praying, speaking, challenging the students-especially at the alter call! We are for sure being pushed out of our comfort zones in different ways.
We were then able to get pwnd(ie. creamed) by the Guatemalans in both futbol y baloncesta (soccer and basketball) but it was loads of funnn!!!
Later on we observed/participated in the different activities in the Fine Arts school! Everything from fencing, to drumline, to pottery->it was so cool!
We then started a project, which we will be finishing tomorrow, helping with the construction of the 4th floor of the school!
We are having a blast and will further update you tomorrow!
